Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and evolution of a cloud-native platform hosted on AWS. The role focuses on designing and building scalable backend services, supporting integrations across core systems, and improving platform performance, security and reliability.

You will work within a microservices environment, contributing to API-first solutions and event-driven architectures that support payments, transaction processing, security monitoring and data platforms. The position also involves designing technical solutions for upcoming integrations, including CRM and internal platform connectivity, while helping shape automation and AI-driven initiatives already underway.

This is a senior individual contributor role with the opportunity to influence technical direction, work closely with stakeholders and contribute to delivery across a multi-vendor environment.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong backend engineering experience within cloud-based environments, together with:

• Proven experience developing enterprise platforms using .NET, C# and ASP.NET
• Strong AWS experience and understanding of cloud architecture principles
• Experience building microservices, API-first platforms and event-driven systems
• Experience working with SQL databases, data warehousing or ETL processes
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevSecOps practices and secure coding standards suited to financial systems
• Experience within fintech, payments, lending or financial services environments
• Ability to work with stakeholders and deliver complex solutions within regulated environments

Experience with Angular or React, payment platforms, lending or credit systems, AI or automation tooling, or mobile applications will be highly regarded.
