Job Description

What you will do:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, define research priorities, and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the design and execution of ad hoc qualitative and quantitative research projects, including managing an in-house customer research panel for rapid insights.
  • Utilize tools such as GA4, Google Ads and visualisation tools (Tableau and Looker Studio) to develop and maintain actionable reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues in GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze user lifecycle, product lifecycle, customer funnels, retention rates, and lifetime value (LTV) to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain the data, leveraging platforms such as Google Cloud, Mixpanel, and Hotjar.
  • Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or similar data visualization platforms to communicate insights effectively.

What you will bring: (our expectations for the role) 

  • 4+ years of experience in a data analytics or digital insights role (preferably for a web-based product)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Commerce, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Matillion, AWS Glue, or similar).
  • Proficiency in GA4, Mixpanel, and Hotjar or similar tools for digital analytics.
  • Experience analyzing customer funnels, LTV, and user lifecycle trends.
  • Skilled in data visualisation using Tableau or Looker Studio (or similar such as Power BI)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Background in iGaming, Gambling, or Online Gaming is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting GA tag implementation using JavaScript & HTML within the page source code.
  • Experience with API integrations with Google Analytics
  • Experience using collaboration and productivity tools such as Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive), Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
