Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Using languages including Python, Microsoft Power Platform and other associated tools, design, develop, and maintain robust scripts for application suites to ensure the stability and reliability of grants management system, Sapphire, and supporting business tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand development requirements and identify business scenarios for effective solutions
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the forms management tool, addressing user issues and ensuring smooth functionality
  • Collaborate with end-users and key internal stakeholders to gather requirements and build or modify the system based on user feedback
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of the system to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure accurate and consistent mapping between forms and database
  • Develop and Deploy AI Solutions including the design, implementation and deployment of AI or large language models (LLMs) using Azure tools to solve complex business problems
  • Train, fine-tune, and optimise large language models (LLMs) to improve performance and accuracy for various applications
  • Monitor the performance of deployed models, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Create comprehensive documentation for developed scripts and tools, ensuring clear and detailed instructions for execution and maintenance
  • Document support processes, known issues, and resolutions for the forms management tool to assist end-users and support teams

About You

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform, including but not limited to PowerApps and the Dataverse
  • Proficient in other contemporary languages including Python.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts for testing
  • Proficient in Microsoft DevOps as central location for script storage and activity management
  • Experience in supporting and enhancing forms management tools or similar systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to forms management tool functionality
  • Proficient in data science, computer science and/or related disciplines, including creation and implementation of large language models
  • An understanding of data linkage, databases, data hygiene, storage and validation practices, with formal qualifications
  • Proficient in scripting and coding languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Capable of translating user requirements into actionable development and testing tasks
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records of scripts, processes, and tool functionality
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Proactive in anticipating potential problems and implementing preventive measures
