About the Role 

We’re on the lookout for a Senior C# Web Developer with 5+ years’ experience and a strong track record of delivering secure, high-performance web applications. You’ll join a cross-functional product team, helping to build scalable, resilient solutions for the Australian financial technology sector. 

Working in a modern engineering environment, you’ll contribute to solutions that prioritise security, performance, and regulatory compliance, using industry best practices. Your work will be central to delivering robust systems that meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and data protection. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using C# .NET, SQL Server, and web technologies 
  • Build scalable solutions using .NET MVC, WebAPI, and cloud platforms 
  • Integrate with third-party systems using Web Services and message queues 
  • Use version control systems such as Git or Mercurial 
  • Design and implement unit, integration, and performance tests for APIs and system components to maintain code quality and reliability 
  • Work in Agile teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence 
  • Contribute to technical architecture and set the standard for engineering best practice 
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product teams across the SDLC 

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years’ experience in hands-on software development 
  • Proven skills in .Net Core or higher, and front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery 
  • Familiarity with modern frameworks, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS 
  • Strong background in SQL Server and database design 
  • Experience in building large scale web applications 
  • Experience working in Agile environments 
  • Clear, effective communication skills—both written and verbal 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience 

Bonus Skills 

  • Experience in the payments industry or financial systems 
  • Knowledge of socket programming or stream-based message processing 
  • Understanding of cryptographic standards and secure coding practices 
  • Experience in automated testing and performance testing 
  • A natural ability of UI/ UX
