Senior Backend Engineer 

Job Description

About the Role :

– Be a key member of the Member Experience team, shaping the cultfit app and powering our ecosystem-including the Trainer app, Personal Training, and SAT app.

– Directly impact our mission to make India fitter by ensuring a seamless, delightful user experience.

– Own projects end to end, solving challenges like smart scheduling and building AI trainer features.

Key Responsibilities :

– Design, develop, and optimize scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant backend services.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into innovative solutions.

– Own the complete feature lifecycle-from product and tech design through development, experimental rollout, and iterations.

– Build features that integrate smoothly with internal tools and customer-facing services, while continuously enhancing product value.

– Perform performance tuning to ensure high reliability and responsiveness of all systems.

Skills & Experience :

– 4 – 6 years of backend development experience with proficiency in core programming languages.

– Strong in building scalable and maintainable systems with solid DBMS expertise (relational or NoSQL), design patterns, and debugging skills.

– Ability to interpret complex requirements and deliver effective technical solutions; familiarity with Springboot is a plus.

– A collaborative, adaptable mindset with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
