Security Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Expertise in application security, secure coding, and encryption techniques.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure design principles.
• Experience with security tools (Snyk, Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube).
• Hands-on experience with IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
• Understanding network security, firewalls, and protocols (HTTPS, TLS).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP security).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD security integration).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• years of experience in application/security engineering.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CSSLP) are a plus.
• Experience in container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and modern security frameworks
