Job Description

We’re looking for a Quality Analyst who thrives in high-ownership environments and sees testing not as a final gate but as a continuous, integrated process. You will be embedded within a cross-functional product team, testing complex workflows across a B2B SaaS platform serving logistics and operations-heavy clients. This is not a role for box-checkers — it’s for someone who wants to understand why something breaks, not just that it breaks.

You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to identify gaps in test coverage, improve test architecture, and champion user experience through the lens of functional correctness, performance, and edge-case resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain detailed, modular test cases for both backend and frontend applications, aligned with real-world usage scenarios.
  • Conduct exploratory testing on new features and regression testing on existing modules with a critical mindset.
  • Automate critical test flows using Playwright or Cypress for UI and Postman/newman for API testing.
  • Review and contribute to acceptance criteria during sprint planning to ensure testability is baked in from the start.
  • Lead root cause analysis of escaped defects and contribute to preventive process changes.
  • Pair with developers during early-stage feature development for test strategy alignment.
  • Own the quality lifecycle of data-heavy workflows — test data integrity, transformation, and accuracy.
  • Monitor and triage failed automated test runs in CI pipelines (GitHub Actions experience a plus).
  • Advocate for quality during backlog grooming, helping product owners write better user stories.
  • Maintain test documentation in Confluence or similar internal wiki platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA or SDET roles, preferably in enterprise SaaS or data-heavy environments.
  • Hands-on experience writing automated tests in JavaScript or TypeScript using Playwright, Cypress, or a similar tool.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, and JSON Schema.
  • Comfortable working with SQL to validate backend logic and data integrity.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Proven ability to think beyond the “happy path” and challenge assumptions in product and dev discussions.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and debugging test failures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — clear bug reports and collaborative test design are essential.
