Job Description

We’re seeking a Prompt Engineer who lives and breathes the nuances of AI language models. This role is for someone who can architect and refine complex prompt strategies to unlock the full potential of generative AI in practical, scalable ways. You will be the driving force behind translating ambiguous or complex user needs into precise, effective prompts that produce consistent, reliable, and ethical AI outputs. If you thrive on experimentation and iteration at the intersection of language, logic, and technology, this is your role.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in crafting high-precision prompts that consistently produce accurate, context-aware outputs across diverse AI language models, including but not limited to GPT architectures.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering strategies such as few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting, zero-shot prompting, and prompt tuning; proven ability to iterate rapidly to optimize AI responses in real-world applications.
• Strong experience with multiple AI frameworks and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, etc.), including knowledge of their specific tokenization, model behavior, and cost-performance trade-offs.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot prompt failure modes—such as hallucination, repetition, ambiguity, and bias—using both qualitative analysis and quantitative evaluation metrics.
• Skilled at designing prompts that align with business goals, user intent, and ethical AI practices, ensuring outputs are safe, unbiased, and aligned with compliance requirements.
• Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including ML engineers, product managers, and UX designers, to translate complex user needs into concise, effective prompt structures.
• Experience in developing prompt templates and reusable prompt libraries to streamline scaling of AI-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with prompt-based data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and prompt chaining techniques to enhance downstream model fine-tuning.
• Comfort working in Python or similar languages to create prompt automation scripts, test harnesses, and tooling for prompt versioning and A/B testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain prompt engineering concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passionate about staying at the forefront of AI language model advancements and continuously experimenting with emerging prompt methodologies and model architectures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP model tuning, or related AI development roles.
• Hands-on experience working directly with large language models in production or research environments.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in AI system accuracy, relevance, or safety through prompt design.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, bias mitigation strategies, and data privacy regulations.
• Experience contributing to open-source NLP projects or publishing technical insights is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on innovation and continuous learning.
