Project Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Conduct Agile ceremonies and manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Support the Product Owner with release planning and maintaining a healthy, prioritized backlog.
• Build strong partnerships with the Product Owner, IT lead, and squad through open communication.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate resources to deliver projects within budget and timeline.
• Champion continuous improvement within the squad and adapt to process changes.

Required Qualifications
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Jira is required. Experience with PPM tools is a nice-to-have.
• Soft Skills: Must be assertive and possess the ability to push back when necessary to ensure project integrity. The role requires strong interpersonal skills to navigate stakeholder dynamics and build rapport with squad members.

Preferred Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous software development lifecycle experience.
• Experience in high-risk financial services environments.
• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
