Project Manager

Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all construction activities on assigned projects to ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets
• Manage project teams including subcontractors, suppliers and site staff, providing clear direction and maintaining high performance standards
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders, identifying and addressing any deviations from plan
• Ensure all health, safety and environmental regulations are adhered to across the project site, conducting regular inspections and toolbox meetings
• Manage project budgets, control costs and track expenditures to ensure projects remain financially viable
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction
• Review and approve quality standards of work, materials and installations to guarantee compliance with specifications
• Resolve disputes, manage risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate project challenges
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, insurance and compliance records

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in construction project or site management working on bespoke luxury homes.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations and safety standards applicable to Australian construction
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing diverse teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Gold Coast region
• Relevant qualifications such as a Construction Management degree, Diploma in Building/Construction or trade qualification
