Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Partner closely with Product and Engineering Leadership to define product roadmaps. Independently translate complex, often ambiguous business goals into simple, scalable, and intuitive design strategies, and influence roadmap prioritization.
  • 0-to-1 Product Development: Lead design for new, ambiguous product initiatives from concept to launch, defining problem spaces, structuring MVPs, and iterating rapidly based on early signals.
  • User Research & Insights: Lead qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing, and data analysis. Synthesize findings into actionable user personas, journey maps, and growth opportunities, and use them to shape strategy at the product-line level.
  • End-to-End UX/UI Design: Own the full execution of features from wireframes, user flows, and information architecture to high-fidelity, pixel-perfect UI designs and interactive prototypes, across multiple concurrent workstreams, for high-traffic, high-scale consumer applications.
  • Balancing Business & Consumer Needs: Design within B2B2C dynamics, translating merchant, business, and operational requirements into experiences that still feel simple and delightful for the end consumer.
  • Design Systems & Scalability: Drive and champion our global design system, setting standards for component-driven, responsive design optimized for scalability across Web, Android, and iOS. Guide other designers on system adoption and consistency.
  • Growth & Experimentation: Design and drive the strategy behind continuous micro-experiments, growth loops, and A/B test variations aimed at optimizing core metrics like acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • AI-Powered Prototyping: Use AI prototyping and lightweight coding tools to rapidly build and test functional prototypes, moving beyond static screens to validate ideas faster with real interactivity.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Maintain a sharp eye on international product trends, clean visual aesthetics, and modern interaction patterns, constantly pushing our product’s visual bar higher, and bringing that perspective to the wider design team.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and provide design feedback to junior and mid-level designers. Act as a design thought partner to cross-functional leaders and help raise craft and process standards across the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 58 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role within fast-paced consumer (B2C) or B2B2C environments (e.g., E-commerce, Super-apps, Fintech, EdTech, or SaaS), with proven experience designing for high-scale consumer applications and a strong track record of owning 0-to-1 product journeys or complex feature areas end to end.
  • Core Design Stack: Mastery of Figma (including advanced auto-layout, component architecture, and variables), Miro, and industry-standard prototyping tools.
  • Full-Stack Design Capability: A strong portfolio demonstrating a balanced mastery over UX thinking (research, wireframing, friction-reduction) and beautiful UI craftsmanship (typography, visual hierarchy, motion/micro-interactions), at a level that can set direction for others.
  • AI & Workflow Efficiency: Highly proficient in leveraging Generative AI and Agentic tools (e.g., Claude Agents/Projects, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Figma AI) to drastically accelerate research synthesis, copy generation, and early-stage brainstorming, and in coaching others to do the same.
  • AI Prototyping & Coding: Strong, hands-on comfort with the fast-evolving “vibe creation” landscape, able to use low-code, no-code, or frontend AI prototyping/coding tools (e.g., v0, Bolt.new, Relume, Cursor) to independently build functional, interactive prototypes rather than static mocks, and to test ideas end to end.
  • Collaboration & Mindset: Strong communication and storytelling skills to present design rationale and influence decisions with senior cross-functional stakeholders. A resilient attitude toward feedback, data-driven intuition, and a desire to build things that scale beautifully.
