Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Work with account teams (Account Executive, Regional Director, Sales, Field Chief Technology Officer, etc) to define and execute comprehensive customer account strategies, ensuring technical alignment with business objectives.

Act as a liaison between sales and product teams, providing essential technical support for pre-sales activities like RFP responses while simultaneously relaying valuable customer feedback to inform product development and support initiatives.

Act as a key liaison to customer technical leadership and coordinate with SI delivery teams on project plans, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.

Lead technical consultations, validate use cases, conduct initial onboarding and configuration, build and present compelling demonstrations of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) throughout the sales cycle.

Provide hands-on implementation support for Immuta solutions within diverse customer technology stacks, including modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Starburst), cloud environments, and identity management systems.

Act as a trusted Immuta Subject Matter Expert, adept at advising customers on technology strategy and expertly configuring, operating, and guiding the implementation of Immuta solutions for critical security, privacy, governance, and compliance use cases.

Deeply understand customer environments to effectively apply Immuta configurations and policy construction, ensuring successful adoption and growth within their existing analytics computing infrastructure.

Design data governance solutions using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, and PowerPoint, and continually develop, document, and deploy best practices for new and existing Immuta features.

Contribute to Immuta’s internal knowledge base, developing onboarding guides, training materials, and internal PoCs, and potentially supporting trade shows and marketing efforts.

Maintain competency in Immuta’s technical adjacencies, including data platforms, commercial cloud offerings, IDM systems, catalog management systems, and deployment technologies.

Serve as a proactive advocate for Immuta’s continued growth, identifying and communicating new expansion opportunities within customer organizations, always ensuring your solutions reflect Immuta’s current best practices.

Cultivate strong customer relationships by actively participating in calls, meetings, and events to effectively position Immuta as the preferred technology, while also keeping customers informed on the Immuta product roadmap.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

5+ years of experience as a technology consultant, with a strong background in data engineering or data governance roles.

A BA/BS Degree (or equivalent) in technology, computing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Business proficiency in Japanese, including the ability to participate in technical and engagement-related discussions, and read and write documentation. This is a critical requirement due to the nature of our engagements with both current and prospective customers in Japan.

Deep working experience with current modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Starburst.

Proven understanding of cloud data architecture, data analytics, and programming concepts.

Strong grasp of data access through identity management and familiarity with data catalog tools and their purposes.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and an aptitude for translating complex technical concepts into clear business terms, and vice versa.

Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic customer-facing environment.
