About the position:
We are looking for a Pricing Manager (RGT Manager) who will drive a structured, data-driven pricing approach to support profitable growth across multiple countries and product categories. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, BDM, and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain end-to-end pricing frameworks and pricing rules from input cost to final selling price, including scenario calculations and pricing coefficients.
- Collect and validate cost inputs (procurement, logistics, customs, taxes, marketing, service, financial expenses, FX rates).
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies, approval matrices, and pricing corridors.
- Validate shipment prices to customers and reconcile sales prices across ERP, BI, and other internal data sources to detect inconsistencies.
- Prepare exception reports on pricing mismatches and data quality issues.
- Ensure transparency, consistency, and regular updates of pricing tables, calculation logic, and analytical control models.
- Analyze planned vs. actual margins, commercial terms, discounts, rebates, and program benefits to assess profitability by category, partner, country, and pricing scenario.
- Analyze demand elasticity, evaluate promo effectiveness, and recommend pricing and promo scenarios to improve margin and business performance.
- Prepare regular margin reports and dashboards; support BI/ERP automation.
- Work with large and complex datasets across customers, SKU portfolios, individual price conditions, discounts, and bonus mechanisms.
- Identify hidden margin leakages, surface non-obvious insights, and recommend opportunities to improve profitability through better pricing logic and commercial conditions.
Required skills and experience:
- 3–5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, commercial analytics, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business logic skills, with the ability to independently structure data, identify issues, and find opportunities.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets, broad SKU ranges, multiple customers, and complex individual pricing structures, including profitability, margin, and commercial effectiveness analysis.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills, including complex joins, aggregations, window functions, Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, and analytical model building.
- Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX, data modeling, and business-friendly visualization; experience with ERP systems is required.
- Solid understanding of cost structures, FX, credit risk fundamentals, and pricing logic.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; proficiency in Russian and English.
- Python for data analytics, experience in analytics automation, and background in distribution, retail, or FMCG would be considered an advantage.
