Power BI Developer / Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Job Description

Key focus of the role will include;

• Lead the migration of legacy SSRS and Excel VBA reports into a modern Power BI environment
• Design, build and maintain scalable, high-performance Power BI datasets and dashboards
• Create and deliver client governance reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity and alignment to contractual KPIs
• Work with internal stakeholders to define, refine and document reporting requirements
• Translate contractual and operational metrics into automated, reliable reporting solutions
• Develop visually appealing, executive-level and client-ready dashboards
• Help manage and optimise our data lake and reporting data models
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance across reporting assets
• Deliver reporting outputs within agreed timeframes and manage competing priorities
• Continuously improve reporting processes, automation and data quality

About you

You are technically strong, commercially aware, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You are capable of meeting key deadline, and you understand that reporting is not just about data – it’s about trust, clarity and accountability

 To be Successful you will have the following Essential Requirements:

•  Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, report design, performance optimisation)
• Experience migrating or modernising legacy reporting environments (SSRS, Excel/VBA)
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with data lakes or structured analytics environments
• Proven ability to define and report on contractual or governance KPIs
• Strong communication skills; able to distil business and contractual requirements into clear data solutions
• High attention to detail and strong time management skills
