Roles & Responsibilities

This will be a 1-year contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer requirements and propose feasible solutions.
• Create Automation/Software/Electrical control technology to solve problems in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Designing and troubleshooting machine electrical & control systems.
• Create Programmable Logic Control program for automatic machine control & processes.
• Software Integration
• Support overall application lifecycle.
• Site testing and system deployment.
• Technical support and troubleshooting.
• Installing special purpose machine or system.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering relevant discipline
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in machine assembly, manufacturing & automation
• Experienced in PLC programming exp in using Beckhoff.
• Proficient with C and Python programming
• Able to translate research ideas into solutions.
• Able to deliver under tight schedule.
• Possess research and engineering ethics.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
