PHP Python Fullstack Engineer

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

• Migrate legacy PHP and upgrade into a maintainable Python/Node.js microservices architecture.
• Take ownership of an existing, undocumented system, build out the architecture, APIs, and data models across Python, Node.js/TypeScript, and PHP.
• Document architecture/configuration/recovery procedures; implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production readiness.

Tech You’ll Use: Python, TypeScript/Node.js, NestJS, PHP, DevOps

Ideal background

• 4–10+ years as a Full Stack and good experience with Python and PHP
• Fintech/Banking experience and comfort with regulated environments.
• Proven track record in reviving legacy systems with little/no documentation and making independent architectural decisions.
• Long-term employment is ideal
