PeopleSoft Developer (Analyst Programmer)

About the role
You will be responsible for the continuous development and support of the University’s PeopleSoft and other University Administration and Systems (UAS) by integrating and expanding applications through customisation.
You will:
- ensure the PeopleSoft and other UAS operate effectively through analysis, implementation and support of both integration and application solutions;
- undertake required customisations and enhancements according to the scope and the schedule of work;
- implement and test software patches and upgrades prior to release; and
- ensure the timely development and production of data reports.
About you
You will become a subject matter expert in the University’s PeopleSoft applications with demonstrated extensive experience in the design, customisation, build and maintenance of the various technologies available in Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Finance applications and People Tools framework.
You will possess demonstrated:
- knowledge, understanding and experience of different software development and software testing methodologies, and the software development lifecycle;
- analytical and programming skills in developing standards-based inter-application communication using SOAP, REST or other web services technologies;
- design skills and a high level of expertise in complex systems analysis and design for development of solutions for multiple software applications and systems; and
- ability to read, contribute to, and produce accurate and relevant documentation and code commenting.
