Network Security Administrator
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control Management:
- Design and implement access control policies and procedures.
- Manage user access rights and permissions across global systems.
- Monitor and audit access control systems to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Network Security Administration:
- Configure and manage security profiles and traffic forwarding profiles.
- Set up and maintain remote network configurations.
- Handle security breach incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of network security infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud-based environments.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to global security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce policies for secure access to public and private endpoints.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to align access management with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent implementation of access and network security policies.
- Provide training and support to staff on access management and network security best practices.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor traffic logs and alerts for suspicious activities.
- Generate reports on access management and network security activities and incidents.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving access and network security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in access management, network security, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of access control models, security frameworks, and network security principles.
- Familiarity with global security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Entra Global Secure Access or similar systems.
- Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Conditional Access policies.
- Certifications – Any Security Certifications.
