Your new role

As a Server & Network Support Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining client infrastructure. Your day-to-day will include:

• Windows Server & Virtualization: Build and manage AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy; design and maintain Hyper-V hosts, VMs, and backup/DR processes.
• Networking: Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs; deploy and manage Ubiquiti UniFi gateways, switches, and access points; liaise with ISPs for provisioning and fault resolution.
• Domains & DNS: Manage domain registrations, DNS records, and email cutovers; troubleshoot mail flow issues.
• Security: Support endpoint security tools and assist with network hardening.
• Customer Support: Provide remote and onsite support for escalated incidents, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/VLAN, VPNs).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi networking gear.
• Solid understanding of DNS and email transport.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Ubiquiti UEWA/UWA.
• Backup/DR experience (Veeam/Altaro).
• Basic knowledge of CCTV or VoIP systems.
