Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Network Administrator to manage and optimize our complex, multi-site network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in advanced routing, network security, automation, and cloud networking. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance network connectivity for a workforce distributed across multiple locations. This role demands a deep technical skill set, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex enterprise networks supporting 500+ users across multiple locations, including remote and hybrid cloud environments.
• Expertise in advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, VLAN segmentation, and WAN optimization techniques.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network devices, including firewalls, load balancers, switches, and routers.
• Experience designing and maintaining secure VPN solutions (IPsec site-to-site, SSL VPN) to ensure seamless remote access.
• Practical knowledge implementing zero-trust network access (ZTNA) or equivalent security models.
• Skilled in network automation and scripting with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools for deployment and monitoring.
• Proficient with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow analyzers.
• Strong background in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including hybrid connectivity and firewall policies.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks impacting network security (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Proven ability to analyze root causes of network outages and security incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work alongside IT security, systems teams, and business units.
• Experience managing multiple network projects with an emphasis on uptime and SLA compliance.
• Strong technical documentation skills and the ability to communicate complex network topics clearly to varied audiences.
• Passionate about continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging network and cybersecurity technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, AWS Advanced Networking, or similar strongly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience administering enterprise networks in a medium to large organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in network architecture design, security best practices, and cloud networking.
• Proven scripting or automation experience to increase efficiency and reduce manual network configuration errors.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset combined with analytical skills to manage complex network issues and incidents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of liaising between technical teams and business stakeholders.
