Job Description

Overview

We’re seeking a Multimedia Specialist who thrives in the intersection of visual storytelling, motion design, and technical problem-solving. You won’t just make things look good—you’ll make them communicate. This role goes beyond basic editing or graphic production. We want someone who can translate abstract concepts into dynamic content across formats—motion, interactive, and static.

Key Responsibilities

  • Storyboard to Screen: Take creative briefs and develop cohesive multimedia solutions—storyboarding, scripting, filming, animating, editing, and delivering across platforms.
  • Cross-Platform Output: Develop assets for web, mobile, digital signage, social, and internal digital communications, ensuring consistency in visual language and message clarity.
  • On-Set Direction & Capture: Lead small-scale video shoots (interviews, product features, b-roll), including camera setup, lighting, and sound capture—no external crew.
  • Motion Design: Build layered animations using After Effects and/or motion graphics templates for explainers, UI demos, or brand narrative pieces.
  • Interactive Media: Create lightweight interactive modules or media experiences using tools like Adobe Animate, Rive, or Lottie where applicable.
  • Versioning & Localization: Adapt original content for different markets or languages while preserving brand voice and visual integrity.
  • Collaborative Development: Partner with writers, UX designers, and developers to align motion and multimedia elements with user journeys or campaign narratives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Digital Media, or related field, or equivalent proven experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on multimedia production experience in a creative agency or in-house team with a strong portfolio.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator); familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Blender, or Cinema 4D is a plus.
  • Skilled in managing DSLR and mirrorless cameras, lavalier and shotgun mics, and 3-point lighting setups.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle end-to-end production: scripting, shooting, editing, animation, and output.
  • Experience in designing for accessibility—captioning, readable layouts, and motion sensitivity considerations.
  • Strong understanding of compression formats, export settings, and asset optimization for various channels.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js, or other browser-based interactive visuals.
  • Experience integrating multimedia into CMS platforms like Webflow or headless CMS environments.
  • Prior work with corporate comms, product launches, or internal training content.
  • Ability to identify and pitch original concepts based on data or observed content gaps.
