Job Description

We’re looking for a Multimedia Artist who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, motion design, and digital experience. You won’t just be animating assets — you’ll be interpreting abstract concepts into visual form, often with minimal guidance and tight timelines. The ideal candidate understands that visual design is not just decoration, but part of the narrative architecture. Whether crafting animated explainer videos, interactive infographics, or looping brand visuals for immersive environments, you treat each frame like a keyframe — intentional, layered, and built to move.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop original motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and interactive visuals for use across digital campaigns, branded content, and experiential installations.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, UX teams, and copywriters to translate complex ideas into digestible, compelling visual sequences.
  • Concept, storyboard, design, animate, and refine multimedia assets, maintaining high visual standards throughout.
  • Integrate audio, typography, and motion in a way that reinforces both narrative and brand integrity.
  • Prototype interactive visual components using tools such as Adobe Animate, After Effects with Lottie, or WebGL libraries.
  • Maintain an organized file structure and version control for ongoing media projects.
  • Push the boundaries of conventional design within the technical constraints of mobile, web, and installation platforms.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Motion Design, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience creating multimedia content in a creative studio, agency, or in-house brand environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop), Cinema 4D or Blender, and Figma.
  • Demonstrated experience with storyboarding and narrative structure in motion.
  • Experience designing for hybrid media contexts (e.g., digital campaigns + physical installations).
  • Ability to work across a variety of styles — illustrative, abstract, minimal, and data-driven.
  • Familiarity with exporting optimized assets for use in web/app interfaces and motion frameworks (Lottie, Three.js, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, rhythm, and timing in animation.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly around pitching visual concepts and defending creative rationale.
  • A portfolio that shows not just final pieces, but also process thinking and evolution of an idea.

Preferred Extras (Not Required):

  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine for real-time media.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript for animation logic or shader effects).
  • Sound design or compositing experience.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR or spatial computing design principles.
