Job Description
We’re looking for a multimedia artist who thinks in frames, breathes texture, and communicates through motion and stillness alike. In this role, you’ll design and produce high-impact visual content across animation, 3D modeling, digital compositing, and interactive media for brand campaigns, product launches, immersive experiences, and social assets. You won’t just execute someone else’s vision — you’ll shape it, sketch it, prototype it, and challenge it when needed. If your portfolio spans kinetic typography, photorealistic rendering, and stylized motion shorts — and you know when to use which — we want to hear from you.
You’ll work alongside writers, UX designers, filmmakers, and developers on a rotating slate of projects. From crafting animated explainers with tight narratives to building atmospheric loops for AR/VR activations, your work will blur the line between commercial polish and conceptual experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and execute visually striking multimedia assets (2D/3D animations, short-form videos, interactive mockups) based on creative briefs and project goals.
- Build layered compositions using tools like After Effects, Blender, or Unreal Engine for cross-platform output (web, mobile, social, in-store display).
- Collaborate with writers, strategists, and creative directors during ideation to explore multiple visual directions, not just execute final versions.
- Take ownership of visual storytelling — including storyboarding, animatics, and final delivery — with a focus on pacing, rhythm, and audience engagement.
- Adapt core brand assets into interactive experiences, including micro-animations and spatial visuals for AR/VR projects.
- Maintain efficient workflows for asset management, version control, and platform optimization.
- Occasionally step into photo/video shoots to direct motion graphics overlays or consult on animation integration.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in multimedia production, with a strong reel showcasing 2D and 3D work (not just logo reveals or UI transitions).
- Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and at least one 3D tool (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya).
- Proven ability to combine technical fluency (e.g., working with .JSON or LUTs) with artistic instincts in motion design and composition.
- Deep understanding of animation principles (timing, squash/stretch, anticipation) and when to bend or break them.
- Experience designing for sound (you won’t need to mix audio, but you’ll need to animate in sync with it).
- Ability to prototype motion in Figma or Principle is a plus.
- Comfortable participating in critiques, pitching visual approaches, and revising based on feedback without losing your creative core.
Preferred:
- Background in interactive storytelling or spatial media (Unity, Unreal Engine, or Spark AR).
- Familiarity with scripting for motion automation (e.g., expressions in AE, Python for Blender).
- Experience working within brand systems and creatively extending them through motion and multimedia.
