Job Description
We’re looking for a Multimedia Artist who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and design. You’ll work on high-impact visual content for digital experiences, ranging from motion graphics and interactive media to short-form animations and immersive brand visuals. This role is not for someone who wants to “just edit” or “just design” — we want someone who understands how audio, visuals, timing, and movement all come together to create engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and copywriters to shape content that not only looks stunning but serves a clear function and narrative.
This role is ideal for someone who’s excited by solving creative problems across multiple formats and platforms, and who isn’t afraid to experiment with new tools and media.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create original multimedia content including animated explainers, video loops, UI animations, title sequences, transitions, and short-form video campaigns.
- Collaborate with content strategists and product teams to align creative output with user needs and business goals.
- Develop mood boards, visual treatments, and motion tests to pitch ideas internally.
- Handle the entire motion design pipeline — from storyboarding and asset creation to compositing, sound syncing, and final rendering.
- Optimize assets for different platforms (web, mobile, social media, events).
- Maintain and evolve motion style guides for brand consistency across all multimedia projects.
- Participate in creative reviews, giving and receiving feedback constructively.
- Research and implement emerging trends in animation, visual effects, and real-time rendering.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Animation, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in multimedia or motion design, preferably in a creative agency or product-focused environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of motion design tools like Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D software.
- Sound understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and audio sync.
- A portfolio demonstrating a range of work: 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, UI motion, and/or interactive visual content.
- Familiarity with Figma, Unreal Engine, or similar tools is a plus.
- Comfortable working with tight deadlines and managing multiple projects at once.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — must be comfortable presenting work and explaining creative decisions.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience designing for AR/VR or interactive media installations.
- Familiarity with generative design or AI-assisted creative workflows.
- Background in sound design or music composition.
