Role Overview :

We are looking for a Microsoft Solution Architect who specializes in Licensing & CSP Strategy.

This role focuses on designing commercially optimized, compliant, and scalable Microsoft solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, and Copilot.

The position is purely solutioning-focused on supporting complex deals, structuring licensing architecture, and ensuring margin protection. This is not a CSP operations or support role.

You will work directly with Sales, Presales, Cloud Architects, and customers to design the right Microsoft commercial and technical structure before deal closure.

Core Responsibilities :

– Design end to end licensing strategies across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Security & Compliance offerings

– Lead EA to CSP transitions and structure NCE lifecycle models

– Perform persona-based license mapping and ensure Product Terms compliance

– Architect multi-tenant, multi-subscription, and hybrid licensing strategies

– Define optimal SKU mix aligned to technical architecture and business objectives

– Protect deal margins through structured discounting and commercial governance

– Design Azure management group hierarchy and subscription segmentation models

– Align licensing decisions with workload architecture, cost optimization, and FinOps principles

– Validate licensing accuracy for RFPs and complex proposals before submission

– Identify upsell, cross-sell, and strategic positioning opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Microsoft account teams

Required Experience :

– 6 to 12 years in Microsoft ecosystem

– Strong CSP experience within a Microsoft Partner organization

– Hands-on involvement in licensing solutioning for mid-market or enterprise customers

– Strong understanding of NCE and Microsoft commercial policies

– Experience handling EA displacement or CSP growth strategy
