Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design static and video ad creative for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with room to extend into TikTok and other paid channels
• Turn briefs, product shots, and raw footage into scroll-stopping, conversion-focused ads
• Produce multiple creative variations and size adaptations for continuous A/B testing
• Apply direct-response design principles, visual hierarchy, benefit-led messaging, clear CTA placement — while staying true to brand guidelines
• Collaborate closely with the paid social buyer(s) and copywriter to translate performance data and creative briefs into new concepts
• Use performance insights (CTR, hook rate, hold rate) to iterate on and refresh creative before it fatigues
• Stay current on ad platform trends, formats, and what’s working for other apparel/fitness/lifestyle brands
• Maintain organized, well-labeled files and a clear naming/versioning system across creative iterations

What You Bring

• 3+ years of design experience; hands-on Meta paid ads design experience for an apparel brand is a strong plus but not mandatory
• Brand-side or agency experience is ideal, but not mandatory, we care more about your portfolio and results than where you got them
• A portfolio that shows strong static (and ideally video/motion) ad creative, not just brand or organic social work
• Comfortable working from a creative brief and iterating quickly based on feedback and performance data
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere or Figma; After Effects and/or AI generation tools are a plus
• Understanding of what makes an ad convert, hook, visual hierarchy, CTA placement, versus what just looks good
• Strong communicator who can take feedback well and explain design decisions when needed
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment with quick turnarounds
