The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional Project Manager position.
Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll lead an established PMO responsible for delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects while mentoring and developing a team of Project Managers and Coordinators.

You’ll play a key role in driving project performance, resource planning, commercial outcomes and client relationships, while helping shape the future direction of project delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Project Management Office and project delivery team.
• Mentor, coach and support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project delivery, resource planning and project performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for additional work.
• Support major proposals, tenders and multidisciplinary project pursuits.
• Drive commercial performance, governance and continuous improvement across the PMO.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and leadership of the business.

About You

• Demonstrated leadership experience within an engineering consultancy, EPCM or similar project delivery environment.
• Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects across the mining, energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, including project financial management and client relationship management.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Engineering, Project Management or related tertiary qualification.
