Logo Designer
Job Description
We are looking for a Logo Designer who thrives on turning abstract brand strategies into striking, original visual identities. This role isn’t about plugging icons into templates — it’s about designing logos that define companies, challenge convention, and become instantly recognizable. You’ll work closely with brand strategists, creative directors, and copywriters to concept and execute logos that balance distinctiveness, function, and storytelling. If your sketchbook is full of marks you haven’t yet pitched and you obsess over alignment, kerning, and the emotional resonance of shape, this is your kind of studio.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and refine logos as part of complete identity systems
- Participate in brand discovery sessions to understand each client’s vision, audience, and values
- Explore multiple logo directions before honing in on a final mark
- Ensure logos scale and perform across formats, from favicon to billboard
- Collaborate with typography and motion design teams to extend logos into dynamic expressions
- Present work clearly and confidently, explaining rationale and process behind decisions
- Maintain an internal archive of concept logos, wordmarks, and typographic experiments
- Keep up with trends and shifts in brand design, but push beyond them
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in brand design or logo development
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of original logos, from wordmarks to symbols to monograms
- Expert in Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with Figma and After Effects
- Ability to communicate design thinking and accept constructive critique
- Understanding of how logo design fits within a broader brand system
- Strong grasp of typography, spatial balance, and geometric construction
- Demonstrated ability to translate verbal concepts and strategy into meaningful visual form
- Experience working with clients or teams in fast-paced, feedback-heavy environments
