Level 2 Systems Administrator

Your new role

In this exciting new role, you will be:

• Administering and supporting Windows Server environments across hybrid on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Advanced administration on M365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Managing Active Directory, including GPOs, user lifecycle management, and permissions.
• Endpoint management across Windows, MacOS, and iOS using Intune and Jamf.
• Supporting high-availability systems critical to teaching and school operations.
• Acting as an escalation point for L1 support issues and providing hands-on troubleshooting.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in your application, you will need:

• Mandatory experience working within a private secondary school environment.
• Proven experience in a Level 2 support or similar role.
• Strong capability across M365, and Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid).
• Familiarity with education IT environments and licencing models.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused, proactive approach.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully-embedded on-site role.
