Job Description

Your New Role

As a Level 2/3 Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you will act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues while supporting and administering cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will provide technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and endpoint technologies, while contributing to ongoing infrastructure improvements and project initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user technologies.
  • Administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Supporting and maintaining Azure environments and networking components.
  • Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, connectivity, and user-related issues.
  • Performing patching, upgrades, maintenance, and security initiatives.
  • Supporting infrastructure and cloud-related projects.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver technology improvements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Strong experience in a Level 2/3 Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proven Microsoft 365 administration experience.
  • Hands-on Azure administration experience.
  • Experience supporting Azure networking components including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, Network Security Groups, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Strong Windows Server administration skills.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and end-user issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:

  • Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, or Infrastructure).
  • Experience with Intune and endpoint management.
  • Exposure to cyber security best practices.
  • Virtualisation technology experience.
  • Backup and disaster recovery experience.
