Lead Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and development of complex frontend applications using React and Next.
js. Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable UI components with Tailwind CSS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Own the end-to-end frontend development lifecycle—from concept and design collaboration to deployment and optimization.
Architect server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and hybrid rendering strategies using Next.
js. Establish and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, performance benchmarks, and review processes.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design systems and wireframes into pixel-perfect interfaces.
Integrate frontend systems with backend APIs and third-party services.
Lead code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Drive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to frontend architecture.
Required Skills & Expertise React Deep understanding of React fundamentals, hooks, context API, state management, and component lifecycle.
Experience building scalable component-driven architectures.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques such as memoization, lazy loading, and code splitting.
Next.js Strong experience with SSR, SSG, API routes, middleware, and routing.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance tuning in Next.
js environments.
Experience deploying and optimizing Next.
js applications in production environments.
Tailwind CSS Expertise in building responsive, maintainable UI systems using Tailwind.
Ability to create and extend design systems using utility-first principles.
Strong understanding of accessibility and responsive design patterns.
JavaScript Advanced proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and API integrations.
Experience writing clean, modular, and testable code.
Leadership & Soft Skills Proven experience leading frontend projects or small engineering teams.
Strong architectural decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Ability to balance speed of execution with code quality and scalability.
