Lead Developer

Job Description

As the Lead Developer, you will:

• Design, code and modify our websites using the Squiz Matrix CMS platform, including custom functionality, from layout to function, according to the department’s specifications and within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Direct and lead a team of web developers and user experience designers in their operational activities, including prioritising and scheduling work, and provide final quality assurance checks prior to publishing.
• Apply skills and experience in managing and administering a CMS and front-end web development using HTML, CSS/SCSS and JS.
• Conduct analysis, design, testing and implementation of new interactive products
• in response to customer and client requirements.
• Contribute to the development of the strategic direction of our websites and
• ensure they align with strategic objectives and priorities and meet citizen, business
• and industry requirements for web information publication.

• Play a leading role in developing policies and guidelines to ensure that our websites are high quality, to minimise risk exposure, and that the websites meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
