Lead Azure .Net Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Azure .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft’s .NET framework and Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for clean code, and experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Service Bus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework development.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture and services.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth, Azure AD).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
