Junior WordPress Developer

Job Description

This role helps ensure our websites—often the center of a client’s acquisition and conversion funnel—are built with speed, accuracy, and performance in mind. The Junior WordPress Developer supports reliable delivery by turning designs and marketing direction into real, measurable web experiences.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• 0-1 years of WordPress experience (internships, freelancing, bootcamps, or personal projects are welcome)
• Working experience with Elementor (you’ve built real pages and understand responsive controls and layout tools)
• Basic front-end skills: HTML/CSS (comfortable editing and troubleshooting)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn quickly with feedback
• Ability to follow checklists, build standards, and documentation
• Clear communication and comfort working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
• Austin-based (or willing to relocate) to support the hybrid schedule (3 days/week in-office)
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Theme Builder, global styles, and reusable templates in Elementor
• Basic knowledge of WordPress hosting environments (WP Engine/Kinsta), staging vs production, and backups
• Exposure to tools like WPForms/Gravity Forms, Google Tag Manager, GA4, or basic SEO concepts
• Any experience with ACF, custom post types, or WooCommerce (not required)
