Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Support the delivery of WordPress-based web projects from discovery through to post-launch.
  • Assist the Head of Project Delivery in refining processes, workflows, and team structures.
  • Maintain clear documentation, schedules, and deliverables throughout each project lifecycle.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams, including developers, designers, strategists, and content specialists.
  • Act as a of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Translate client goals and technical requirements into actionable project plans.

Quality & Performance

  • Support with ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of usability, performance, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Support with testing, QA, deployment, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.

Team Support & Leadership

  • Foster collaboration between in-house and remote team members.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance team performance, efficiency, and innovation.

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience of web project management experience, ideally within a digital agency.
  • Proven track record delivering WordPress projects.

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, CMS structure, hosting, workflows).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI principles, SEO, and accessibility standards.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira, or ClickUp.
