Junior RPA Developer

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY :

We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer with strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate to build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of work queue management, enabling scalable and reliable automation of business processes. You will work closely with business users, operations, and compliance teams to translate process requirements into robust, secure, and compliant automated solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Microsoft Power Automate Development :

– Design, develop, and deploy cloud and desktop flows using Microsoft Power Automate.

– Create dynamic workflows that integrate with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), third-party APIs, and databases.

– Implement modular flows that support reuse, exception handling, and logging.



Process Analysis & Solution Design :

– Collaborate with business users to identify automation-ready processes, gather requirements, and define automation logic.

– Convert manual or repetitive workflows into efficient automated processes using flowcharts, pseudocode, and solution documentation.

Testing, Deployment & Monitoring :

– Conduct unit testing and support UAT cycles for validation of automation outputs.

– Deploy flows to production with alert and monitoring mechanisms.

– Track performance using run history, analytics, and Power Platform dashboards.

Documentation & Compliance :

– Maintain detailed documentation on each flow including triggers, actions, dependencies, and credential usage.

– Follow organizational and client-specific data privacy protocols (e.g., HIPAA in healthcare contexts).

WORK EXPERIENCE :

– Should be a professional with a minimum of 4 years’ hands-on development experience on utilizing RPA products using Power Automate Desktop and cloud flows, attended and unattended bots to automate business process.

– Hands on experience in work queues management

– Should have experience in extracting data from legacy web applications, ETL processes, third party APIs

– Should have experience in building databases, writing queries, Stored procedures, Views in MS SQL, My SQL etc.,

Required Skills :

– Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows).

– Hands-on experience with work queue setup, management, and transaction processing in automated environments.

– Familiarity with Power Apps, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, Excel, Outlook, Teams integrations.

– Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP connectors, and conditional logic.

– Ability to design for scalability, modularity, and error recovery in flow-based automation.

Good to Have :

– Experience with PowerShell scripting, Power BI, or AI Builder.

– Knowledge of Power Platform governance, environment management, and CoE best practices.

– Familiarity with US Healthcare workflows, especially eligibility, claims, or RCM processes.

– Microsoft certification : PL-500 (RPA Developer), PL-900 (Fundamentals).

Soft Skills :

– Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

– An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.

– Ability to prioritize, schedule and complete tasks required for multiple projects with overlapping schedules

– Highly motivated and resilient and able to adapt to change.

– Ready to work in a startup setup.

– Knows how to prioritize requests effectively and efficiently and work with a sense of urgency

– Excellent time management skills

– Proactive, persistent and dependable

EDUCATION :

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology OR a Masters degree in Science/Computer Applications. Certifications in key technology skills are a plus.
