Junior Developer
Job Description
Your Role:
As a developer at R6, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress websites, custom plugins, Laravel applications, and booking systems. You’ll write clean, efficient code, provide reliable time estimates, and consistently deliver work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins, widgets, shortcodes, menus, post types, and taxonomies.
- Leverage technologies like JavaScript libraries, HTML, CSS/SASS, PHP, React and AngularJS to support and enhance our digital products.
- Use version control tools like Git to manage and track code changes effectively.
Our Must-Haves:
- Proficient in an object oriented programming language such as C++,PHP, Java or JavaScript. *This list is not exhaustive
- Proven ability to write clean, concise, and well-structured code.
- Experience using version control systems, specifically Git.
- Exceptional time management skills and respect for deadlines.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience with PHP and or React.
- Comfortable with Laravel.
- Proficiency in Docker or containerised applications.
- DevOps Capabilities/infrastructure knowledge.
