JavaScript Developer

Job Description

We are looking for technically minded individuals with strong communication skills to become part of our team. To succeed in this role you will be reliable, team-oriented, self-motivated, have excellent time management skills, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. You will be passionate about web development and have an interest in Open Source Software. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.Responsibilities

• Work on new website projects, from initial discovery and planning phases through implementation and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance existing websites while adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Communicate with clients and manage ongoing projects and maintenance requests.
• Configure and maintain large-scale websites running on cloud environments.
• Work with internal or external designers to implement provided designs.
• Lead improvements in the software development process and coordinate efforts with co-workers.

• Linux
• HTML, CSS
• git version control software

Familiarity with any of the following technologies is desirable:

• TypeScript
• JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Vue, Knockout, or React
• CSS libraries and frameworks such as Tailwind, or Bootstrap
• Docker, Kubernetes, or other container environments
• Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• MySQL or PostgreSQL relational database
• DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other document database
• VS Code, PhpStorm, Eclipse, or other IDE
• Nginx
