Java/AWS Developer

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

– Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.

– Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.

– Work on system integration, performance tuning, and production support.

– Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

– Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

– Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps teams.

– Ensure application security, coding standards, and best practices are followed.

– Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production and lower environments.

– Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills :

– Strong experience in Java 8/11/17.

– Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

– Expertise in Microservices Architecture.

– Strong experience with AWS services such as :

1. EC2

2. Lambda

3. S3

4. RDS

5. ECS/EKS

6. API Gateway

7. CloudWatch

8. IAM

– Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

– Good understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

– Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).

– Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging systems.

– Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.

– Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

– Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

– AWS Certification is a plus.

– Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

– Exposure to React or Angular is an added advantage.

– Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or Prometheus.

– Experience working with global delivery teams and client-facing environments.
