Job Description

Key Responsibilities

**Website Development & Maintenance**

– Manage, build and maintain LMA’s Squarespace websites, pages and digital content, applying HTML, CSS and JavaScript to resolve layout and functionality issues.
– Test updates across devices to ensure responsive, accessible experiences, and identify and resolve broken links, outdated content and display errors.
– Maintain clear documentation of website structures, platform settings and maintenance procedures.

**Web Design & User Experience**

– Apply web-design and user-experience principles to create clear, consistent and easy-to-navigate webpages reflecting LMA’s branding and objectives.
– Work with staff and volunteers to translate content, event and campaign requirements into effective website pages.
– Improve navigation, page structure and visitor journeys based on organisational needs, feedback and basic accessibility practices.

**Domains, Platforms & Integrations**

– Assist with website domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, hosting settings and platform configurations.
– Manage website forms, embedded content and approved third-party integrations, including Google Workspace tools.
– Maintain appropriate access permissions and security practices, escalating complex infrastructure issues as needed.

**SEO, Analytics & Improvement**

– Support setup and monitoring of website-traffic data using Google Analytics, Search Console or equivalent tools.
– Apply basic SEO practices and monitor performance to improve engagement, discoverability and content effectiveness.
– Assist in preparing reports on website traffic and campaign performance, building SEO and analytics knowledge over time.

**Operational IT & Collaboration**

– Manage Google Workspace administration, including account setups, security and permissions.
– Attend cross-departmental meetings, provide general IT support, and use Notion to track and document IT tasks and projects.

## Skills & Experience

**Essential**

– Experience building and maintaining websites using Squarespace or a comparable CMS, with intermediate HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
– Sound understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility, website testing and basic accessibility.
– Familiarity with website domains, DNS, SSL certificates, hosting settings and platform administration.
– Basic knowledge of web design and UX principles, and confidence using Google Workspace tools.
– Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills, working well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Availability for weekly Sunday IT meetings and comfort using Notion for task tracking.

**Desirable**

– Experience using WordPress or JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue or Angular.
– Experience with website analytics tools and basic SEO knowledge, with willingness to build these skills further.
– Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker), Linux command-line, and version control tools (e.g. Git, GitHub).
– Experience integrating website forms, email-marketing platforms, payment tools or booking systems.
– Experience working or volunteering in a not-for-profit, community-focused or events-based organisation.
