About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support & Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves a combination of hands-on IT support, system testing, and business application support, ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of client systems and integrated platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts across multiple environments
- Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality and performance
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and system stability
- Provide Level 1–2 IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and cloud-related issues
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, email systems, and cloud applications
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, operating systems, and business applications
- Monitor and manage client systems using RMM tools such as Datto RMM
- Test and validate SaaS-based solutions including email filtering systems, SaaS backup solutions, dark web monitoring tools, and security awareness training platforms
- Work with Zoho CRM Suite (including Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, and related applications) to support users, test workflows, and troubleshoot system issues
- Assist in Zoho CRM integrations with third-party applications and internal systems, ensuring data flow and system functionality
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, test cases, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support system improvements and ensure alignment with business requirements
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Minimum of 1 year’s hands-on experience in IT support, including system and software testing, within a professional environment
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including UAT and regression testing
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 environments and cloud-based applications
- Experience working with Zoho CRM Suite and exposure to CRM customisation or integrations
- Familiarity with RMM tools such as Datto RMM, Kaseya, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting or testing SaaS solutions, including backup, security, or monitoring systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, supporting multiple client environments and service delivery models
- Hands-on exposure to Zoho CRM Suite (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk) including workflow automation, customisation, and system integrations or similar CRM solution
- Experience integrating Zoho applications with third-party platforms using APIs, webhooks, or automation tools (e.g., Zoho Flow or similar)
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools such as Datto RMM and Kaseya, including system monitoring, alerting, and automation
- Exposure to testing and supporting managed security and SaaS solutions, including email filtering, SaaS backup, and endpoint protection platforms
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices within managed IT environments
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar)
