Job Description

We are seeking an IT Specialist with a strong focus on systems integration and endpoint security. This is not a helpdesk position. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and secure infrastructure that supports automated workflows, zero-trust device access, and seamless SaaS interoperability. The ideal candidate thrives on deep configuration work, scripting repeatable processes, and closing security gaps proactively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Integration:
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) to streamline identity provisioning, asset onboarding, and SaaS platform interoperability.
    • Integrate core business tools (e.g., Slack, Atlassian, Microsoft 365, Okta) with internal ITSM systems and ensure data flow consistency between platforms.
  • Endpoint Management & Security:
    • Deploy and configure MDM (e.g., Intune, Jamf) for Windows/macOS environments with role-based compliance rules and posture checks.
    • Enforce device-level security controls, including disk encryption, antivirus compliance, and patch automation.
  • Access & Identity Control:
    • Manage SCIM and SSO integrations across third-party platforms, with emphasis on lifecycle automation and conditional access policies.
    • Contribute to the implementation of zero-trust architecture principles in collaboration with security and network teams.
  • Incident Response Readiness:
    • Maintain audit trails, monitoring alerts, and forensic data for security-related investigations.
    • Participate in tabletop exercises and support post-incident remediation as required.
  • Project-Based IT Improvements:
    • Partner with DevOps and InfoSec teams to support infrastructure modernization (e.g., moving legacy tools into cloud-native alternatives).
    • Evaluate and recommend tools for vulnerability scanning, license optimization, or workflow automation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in an enterprise IT role with direct ownership of endpoint security and SaaS integrations
  • Proven experience with scripting in PowerShell or Python
  • Deep familiarity with identity and access management, especially via Azure AD, Okta, or JumpCloud
  • Hands-on experience managing MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, etc.)
  • Experience with API integrations, system logs, and SIEM data forwarding
  • Comfortable working in environments governed by SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing device trust or network segmentation policies
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tooling
  • Experience supporting fast-scaling tech teams (200–1000 employees)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, or Okta Certified Administrator
