About the Role:
We’re looking for an IT Specialist who thrives on solving real-world technical problems across a mixed OS environment (Windows, macOS, Linux). This role is hands-on, tactical, and impacts every department across the organization. You won’t be just resetting passwords—you’ll be configuring device policies via MDM, hardening endpoints, scripting automations, and owning first- and second-line escalations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain 150+ endpoints using Intune and Jamf. Automate provisioning using zero-touch deployment workflows.
- Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor LAN/WAN connectivity, firewall rules, VPN access, and QoS issues using tools like PRTG or Meraki dashboard. Handle real-time escalations during outages or degradation events.
- User Support & Escalation: Resolve escalated helpdesk tickets involving OS conflicts, device sync issues, remote access problems, and software integrations (e.g., Zoom, Adobe CC, Slack, Salesforce).
- Scripting & Automation: Write PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to streamline onboarding/offboarding, user account provisioning, and scheduled system maintenance.
- Security Enforcement: Apply OS-level patches, enforce MFA policies, manage privileged access accounts, and respond to endpoint detection alerts using CrowdStrike or similar tools.
- Asset Lifecycle & Inventory: Track hardware/software inventory, manage license renewals, and coordinate replacements with finance and procurement.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Create and maintain internal documentation for recurring tasks, SOPs, and how-to guides in Confluence or Notion.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or endpoint engineering
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Intune & Autopilot
- Jamf Pro (for macOS MDM)
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP)
- Azure Active Directory & Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS resolution) and ability to configure basic firewall and VPN rules
- Ability to write and troubleshoot basic scripts in PowerShell and Bash
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Freshservice)
- Strong documentation habits and ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users
Nice-to-Have (Not Required):
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS Workspaces, Google Workspace)
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Working knowledge of SSO configurations using SAML or SCIM
