IT Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support & Operations

• Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues (PCs, printers, POS terminals, mobile devices).
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Troubleshoot network and system issues, escalating to regional IT or vendors when necessary.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and IT asset inventory.
• Support local business applications and liaise with Head Office–hosted systems.
• Monitor basic server and network performance under guidance from regional IT.

Coordination & Documentation

• Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders for issue resolution and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and assist with procurement and inventory management.
• Follow company IT policies and contribute to improving support documentation.

Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Hands-on experience managing end-user support in office and/or retail environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate with vendors and work in a regional/global IT framework.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Profile:

• You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a Helpdesk / Technical Support or IT Consulting role.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
