IT Security Analyst

Job Description

(Job Responsibilities)

• Provide subject matter expertise and operational readiness for SASE, SWG, or DLP security tools
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems
• Respond to security alerts and implement proactive procedures to enhance service health
• Investigate and resolve security incidents while recommending improvements to security posture
• Research security trends and techniques to prevent system compromises
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience providing SME-level support in dynamic enterprise environments
• Moderate technical experience with SASE, web proxy, and DLP security platforms
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and cloud networking principles
• Demonstrated effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Moderate experience with migrating on-premises security stacks to cloud solutions
• Experience with advanced detection logic and data classification in DLP platforms
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) topics related to cloud and on-premises technology
• General experience with logging, monitoring, and reporting platforms like Splunk and Grafana
• Ability to execute executive-level presentations and advanced Excel reporting
