Your Role in Action
- Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the Software Asset Database by ensuring software inventory records are updated in a timely manner. Conduct regular data quality reviews, reconcile software entitlement and deployment information, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions to ensure compliance with software asset management policies and reporting requirements.
- Champion compliance across the ICT asset portfolio, ensuring licensing obligations, policies and standards are consistently met.
- Analyse asset utilisation, performance and spend to identify opportunities for optimisation, cost savings and smarter purchasing decisions.
- Lead commercial discussions with vendors, negotiating competitive pricing and value-driven agreements that meet evolving business needs.
- Provide insightful financial and procurement analysis to support investment decisions, contract negotiations and future planning.
- Review and validate invoices from key ICT providers, ensuring accuracy, transparency and accountability across ICT expenditure.
- Partner with stakeholders to anticipate changing technology requirements and proactively plan for future software and asset needs.
- Develop and continuously improve the frameworks, policies and budget oversight that enable strong governance, risk management and value from our ICT investments.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience managing ICT assets and software licences across their full lifecycle, with a strong focus on accuracy, governance and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to analyse data, solve complex problems and translate insights into clear, practical recommendations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills, enabling successful vendor partnerships and commercial outcomes.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to embrace evolving technologies and align them to business needs.
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Law, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable; however, we also value equivalent skills, experience and transferable expertise.
