iOS Technical Lead

About the Role
Lead a technical native mobile team that are responsible for software engineering functions including solution design, development, and support a suite of products and services within Digital Product, that align with ABC strategy and objectives. Primarily overseeing iOS technical roadmap, however overseeing mobile development and its ecosystem; pertaining to a specific product space.
Key Accountabilities

Provide exceptional technical development skills within ABC Digital Network’s Technology team, to lead the development of various mobile applications and components in an efficient manner across devices.
Lead and manage a technical team in the analysis, design and development of complex, re-usable components and functionality for a broad range of uses across various ABC digital properties.
Take accountability for the technical success of the platforms and product by overseeing development quality & performance, observability, documentation, processes, systems that may influence the current and future success of the platforms.
Deliver high quality product development within agreed time and budget constraints.
Maintain a high level of awareness of best practice in the industry for mobile development & technologies impacting the mobile ecosystem; particularly in areas such as design patterns, user interface building, architecture, observability and performance.
Improve the quality of output by contributing to the development of best practices and development standards.

About You

Excellent development skills, with demonstrated experience developing complex, secure and high-performance iOS applications.
Strong, demonstrated knowledge and experience in assessing, selecting and using modern frameworks and build tools, implementing automated testing and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
Advanced experience in developing and operating through continuous integration and delivery operations and infrastructure and system that support it.
Qualifications in a computing related field or significant industry experience in mobile application development is essential.
Experience with multiple mobile development platforms and technologies influencing mobile environments is an advantage.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to foster an open and creative approach to development that shares ideas, skills and knowledge both within and across teams.
Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership within a development team and representing that team in discussions with other areas of the business.
Excellent skills in planning and prioritising projects and tasks; delivering with a high attention to detail while working under pressure to tight deadlines.

Technologies you may be familiar with: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Gradle, Arrow, JUnit, DDD
