Interior Visualizer & Furniture Layout Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Review Technical Documents: Review room photos, floor plans, CAD drawings, measurements, and elevations.
• Verify Dimensions: Confirm key room dimensions, architectural features, and retail product specifications.
• Space Planning: Create or check scaled furniture layouts and identify when items are too large, too small, too deep, or poorly placed.
• Photoshop Compositing: Place exact furniture images into room views, adjusting scale, perspective, shadows, lighting, color, and finishes for a realistic look.
• Provide Options: Show multiple furniture options within the same room view.
• Communicate Issues: Clearly communicate whether a mockup is completely accurate, approximate, or if more spatial information is needed.
• File Management: Keep product images, links, Photoshop files, and revision versions highly organized.

Qualifications
• Strong Adobe Photoshop compositing skills.
• Proven experience creating interior mockups or room visualizations.
• Ability to place actual retail furniture images into room photos/views while accurately adjusting scale, shadows, lighting, perspective, color, and finishes.
• Solid understanding of furniture layout, room proportion, walkways, rug sizing, and clearances.
• Ability to read and interpret basic floor plans, CAD drawings, room dimensions, or measured sketches.
• Ability to work with actual product dimensions from retail websites or spec sheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for interiors (balance, color, materials, furniture styles, and lighting).
• Clear communication and organized file management habits.
• A portfolio showing interior room mockups (not just mood boards or general graphic design).

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, or Adobe Illustrator.
• Background in interior design, e-design, furniture layout, home staging, or furniture sourcing.
• Ability to create scaled furniture layouts.
• Presentation design skills using tools like Canva, InDesign, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
• 3D rendering experience (as long as you also possess strong Photoshop-based interior mockup skills)
