About the Role

We’re looking for an Interactive Designer who thinks beyond static screens. You’ll shape dynamic user experiences that move, adapt, and respond to the user’s behavior in meaningful ways. If you’re the kind of designer who sketches transitions as often as you sketch layouts, who obsessively prototypes in Framer or Webflow just to “see how it feels,” we want to talk.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Translate behavioral insights into interface behaviors—how elements respond, animate, or evolve as users engage
• Build high-fidelity prototypes in tools like ProtoPie, Framer, or custom code (React.js, GSAP, or Three.js is a plus)
• Partner with UX and Engineering to refine interaction details, not just “hand off” specs
• Lead motion exploration for product features—present timelines, easing curves, and rationale for motion
• Design with performance in mind—collaborate with engineers to balance rich interaction with lean implementation
• Develop and maintain our motion system and interactive component libraries
• Conduct interaction audits of existing experiences to identify places we can be more responsive, fluid, or helpful

You’ll Need:

• A portfolio that shows real product examples, not just animations—emphasis on interactive flow, not just visual polish
• 3+ years of experience in interactive or product design, ideally with some time at a SaaS, mobile-first, or game-adjacent product
• Proficiency with Figma plus advanced prototyping tools (Framer, Principle, ProtoPie, etc.)
• Comfort with code—basic HTML/CSS/JS understanding, or the ability to converse in engineering terms
• A point of view on why interaction matters—how motion and responsiveness impact user trust, comprehension, or behavior
• Experience designing for accessibility within dynamic interfaces (e.g. motion-reduction settings, screen reader implications for interactive elements)
