Job Description
We’re looking for an Interactive Designer who thinks beyond screens. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to translate brand, product, and data insights into tactile, immersive experiences—often digital, sometimes physical, never boring. Whether it’s building a scroll-triggered storytelling microsite, prototyping a multi-sensory in-store kiosk, or experimenting with spatial interfaces, you’ll bring clarity to complex narratives through interaction. You understand how people move through digital and hybrid environments and design to guide, prompt, and delight.
What You’ll Do
- Concept, wireframe, and design rich interactive experiences across web, mobile, and physical-digital interfaces
- Translate abstract concepts into tangible interaction patterns and flows
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure designs are feasible, performant, and polished
- Prototype early-stage ideas in Figma, Webflow, Principle, or code (React, Framer, etc.)
- Collaborate with brand designers and motion specialists to ensure consistency across all visual outputs
- Lead or contribute to design sprints, usability tests, and design QA
- Work on projects ranging from campaign-based storytelling to product onboarding flows and interactive installations
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience designing interactive experiences in an agency, studio, or in-house team
- Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, interactivity, and narrative flow—not just static visuals
- Fluency with Figma and prototyping tools like Framer, Protopie, or HTML/CSS/JS for browser-based testing
- Ability to design for non-linear experiences (e.g. scroll storytelling, interactive maps, data-driven visuals)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and performance considerations
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, defining interaction patterns where none exist
- Bonus: experience designing for touchscreens, kiosks, or XR environments
- Bonus: motion design skills using After Effects or Lottie
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting or applying insights from usability testing
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging tech (e.g., WebGL, spatial computing, AI-generated content)
- Ability to think like a creative technologist even if you’re not one—understanding what’s possible and pushing it
